Yes, blogging is influence too – just like leadership. It has been said that bloggers, like leaders, have 2 important characteristics. First, they are going somewhere. Second, they are able to convince and persuade readers / subscribers to stick it with them.

Blogging is a matter of having people look through your blog and gain interest. If everything rises and falls on content, then it rises and falls on the one who is the blogger. Every blog can be identified or categorized on the personality / temperament that the blogger intended its blog to have.

Understanding the process by which bloggers blog also provides insight into the nature of blogging, in respect to the blogger. In one sense, blogging is the process of spreading the news / information and helping people understand and enjoy – feeling good about what they read, whatever that is. If so, then good blogging is described as the art of getting people more information into their hands, help them understand, and help them apply it, somehow, in their life or work, and enjoy it at the same time.

At its highest peak, bloggers, as they continue to post / publish more and improve their blog, they gain more loyal readers / subscribers. With that, it is important to note that, “You will lose your readers / subscribers when you cease to blog or have not blog for quite some time.” That is why, frequency of posting is, also, very important.

So, do you now see the impact that you, as a blogger and your blog, have for the following public? You now are a leader. You now have influence. You now have followers. This is unfortunate, if you did not know this before becoming a blogger. Still, you need to be careful on what you write and post / publish in your blog. You have to be morally responsible in what to say, how you say, and when to say it.

To state a Chinese fortune cookie, “He who thinks he leads when no one is following is just taking a walk.”

So learning how to properly blog is not only very important for your own good, as a blogger, but also for the good of those that follows you.
